Crew

Crew is another word for Friends, Family and Neighbors. Rather than limiting ourselves to just using our family as a support system, we should reach out to the people around us as well. When the word Crew is mentioned you’ll know we mean the group that surrounds you (work, church, hobby or home life).

Describing a crew, as opposed to family, is also inclusive of all those non-traditional groups living together and thriving despite being a single parent home, shared custody, same sex, adopted, or even a nuclear family. Traditions exist because we establish them. And although the traditional family may look different today than it did in the Atomic Era or even Bible Times, we can still remain supportive, loving and equal.

Crews work closely together and are made up of the people around you.

“Many times it takes just one member of a family to initiate the action to bring a family back together again.” -Billy Graham
